Description:

As an IT/OT Network Engineer, you will work collaboratively within infrastructure and operational technology teams to ensure the integrity, security, and efficiency of the enterprise network—both in the cloud and on-premise.

Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements, design infrastructure, implement solutions, and resolve technical issues.
Manage, support, and drive resolution of support tickets within the OT environment, ensuring compliance with standards and SLAs.
Proactively monitor security systems, including network connections and VPNs; respond to security incidents to minimize disruptions.
Analyze and resolve technical incidents through tickets and other troubleshooting tools.
Support infrastructure/network issues, handle modifications, and maintain documentation.
Participate in and support infrastructure-related projects.
Assist in developing and delivering process-oriented training material for targeted user groups.
Build and maintain a knowledge base for users of future tools and processes.
Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and solutions.
Provide training and mentorship to team members, including onboarding and updates on new technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
3–5 years of experience in a similar IT/OT network engineering role.
Solid knowledge in the following areas:
Firewall and network security
Layer 2 network switching and Layer 3 routing
DNS, DHCP, IPSec, and WAN technologies (LTE, DSL, MPLS)
Azure networking and cloud infrastructure (VNet peering, Azure Firewall, NSGs, UDRs, VPN Gateway, Express Route, Private Link)
Strong skills in coordinating, troubleshooting, and performing root cause analysis.
Experience in both Windows and Linux environments, with familiarity in interpreting system logs.
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and organized with excellent time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
Understanding of Agile methodology and experience working in Agile teams.
Ability to document business/technical requirements and perform in complex, fast-paced environments.
Language Requirements
English: Fluent (mandatory)
German: Advantageous
