Support the Acting Reservations In-Charge in managing departmental operations, ensuring all guest and partner
communications are handled promptly, accurately, and with professionalism.
Manage and process FIT bookings with a strong focus on driving growth in alignment with budget targets.
Accurately input and update all reservations in the system, including benefits, special requests, and any other relevant
details.
Monitor daily arrivals, departures, and special arrangements, ensuring seamless coordination with the GRO and Front
Office teams.
Proactively identify and report potential booking conflicts, overbookings, or missing information to the Acting Reservations
In-Charge.
Maintain clear, courteous, and effective communication with travel agents, guests, and internal departments.
Assist in compiling, preparing, and maintaining departmental reports as required.
Manage villa/room inventory proactively, highlighting and communicating any overbooking risks or availability concerns to
relevant stakeholders.
Escalate urgent or critical matters to senior management without delay.
Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to the Reservations team, ensuring the highest standards of service and
efficiency.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in reservations or front office operations, preferably in a luxury resort/hotel
environment
Prior experience in the Maldives tourism industry will be considered an added advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages an advantage).
Knowledge of reservations systems (Opera or similar PMS) and online booking platforms.
